T-Mobile Moto X might be offered directly from the Play Store

A leaked screenshot on Tmonews suggests that the T-Mobile version of the Moto X will be available directly from Google’s Play Store.

Back when the Moto X was being unveiled, it was mentioned that it will eventually make its way onto all four major U.S. Carriers. AT&T started selling the device from August 23rd, and Verizon began offering the Moto X from yesterday. Today, a leaked screenshot emerged indicating that T-Mobile is the next carrier to get the device, and unlike the other carriers, T-Mobile’s Moto X will be available from the Play Store.

At the Moto X unveiling, T-Mobile stated that Motorola will be handling the sales and distribution of the device directly. Now it looks like the device will instead be sold on the Play Store. We’re not clear as to how much the device is set to cost, but all devices on sale on the Play Store are unlocked and contract-free, so it should be interesting to see if the T-Mobile Moto X will also be available unlocked.

There are no details as to when the T-Mobile Moto X will become available, but it should not be too long considering AT&T and Verizon are already selling the device.
