Moto X now available on Verizon, blue HTC One might make its way to Sprint

Motorola’s Moto X has made its way to Verizon, and is available to buy online. The carrier has mentioned that the device will be available in-stores in the coming weeks.

Verizon is the second U.S. carrier to stock the Moto X, after AT&T. Verizon is only offering the 16 GB Moto X for $199.99 on a two-year contract. The 32 GB model as well as the Moto Maker customization website are exclusive to AT&T, for now. The Moto X will work on Verizon’s LTE network.

A user on Reddit found a discount code that offers shaves 30% off the price of the Moto X. The code is “VERIZON30″, and from the thread on Reddit, it looks like several users were able to redeem the discount.

Additionally, the blue variant of the HTC One was also rumored to be launched on Verizon today, but it looks like that rumor did not pan out. According to the rumor, the blue*HTC One was slated to be released on August 15th, but was delayed as Verizon did not want its launch affecting the release of devices like the Motorola DROID Ultra, MAXX, and Mini, which were launched August 20th. *Considering that its August 29th and the there is no mention of the*blue*HTC One, it looks like the carrier is going to wait awhile.

Meanwhile, it looks like the blue*HTC One might actually be*headed to Sprint instead, as a document that was leaked online*today revealed that the device will likely be available on the network from September 10th.
