Lian Li announces the PC-Q35 brushed aluminium chassis

Geared at NAS system builders, Lian Li’s latest chassis comes with a Mini-ITX/Mini-DTX form factor and allows users to install seven HDDs.

The PC-Q35 is an ideal chassis for users looking to build NAS systems. The chassis can comfortably hold motherboards of Mini-ITX/Mini-DTX form factors. With a width of 210mm and height of 305mm and a depth of 456 mm, this chassis is not large, but can hold a lot of hardware.

The case can accommodate an ATX power supply up to 200mm in length as well as a video card of up to 300mm in length. This should be more than enough to accommodate even the largest video cards. The Nvidia GTX Titan, for instance, is 267 mm in length. In addition, the case has an HDD bay that can hold a total of seven hard drives (five 3.5-inch drives and two 2.5-inch drives). The drive cage also comes with a front-facing 120mm intake fan. There is an additional 120 mm fan at the top that can support a 120mm liquidcooling system.

Also included is a lockable aluminium front door which covers the power switch, thereby preventing unauthorized users from switching on the chassis. There are two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connectors on the right side panel. The rear of the chassis comes with two PCI Express card slots.

The Lian Li PC-Q35 is available in black and white brushed aluminium trims, and will available in the Europe and parts of Asia for $176.
