Shueisha’s Monthly Jump Square magazine has revealed*the story covered by the new Rurouni Kenshin manga in its July issue. Readers*will finally witness how Makoto Shishio met his follower-slash-lover Yumi Komagata.

The manga, consisting of two chapters*penned by the original creator Nobuhiro Watsuki, will be titled*Controlling Flame – Rurouni Kenshin: Hidden Chapter-. The story*will also show*how*Shishio formed the*Juppongatana, his elite group of swordsmen.
The first chapter of this upcoming manga will be published in the August issue of*Jump SQ which will be released on July 4. This one-shot was previously announced*in the magazine’s June issue.
