The 5 anime or manga characters people want as their boss according to DDNavi

With a new crop of graduates already starting out in their new jobs in Japan, anime website DDNavi has asked men and women aged 20-40 who they want as their boss.*Out of the many names who came up in their survey, five stood out the most and they are:

5) Gintoki Sakata (Gintama)

OK, who doesn’t want a boss who has a great sense of humor, loves to eat out and trolls everybody every single day. It would be great to have a boss like that, right? So its no surprise that the Yorozuya’s boss is at the list as he can make your days at the office a little bit brighter. Sadly, he is at #5 because he may brighten up the office but that does not mean your office will be productive, just look at how the Yorozuya is always experiencing financial troubles.

4)*Mitsuyoshi Anzai (Slam Dunk)

This father figure-type boss stays calm, wouldn’t scream at you when you do something wrong, but he will work the hell out of you to improve your skills. He is a good motivator and knows how to get the job done, no wonder he is at #4.

3) Kiichi Goto (Mobile Police Patlabor)

This captain of the*Second Special Vehicles Division may be one of the most laid back characters in DDNavi’s list but he is highly capable. He has razor sharp perception coupled with a subtle and manipulative nature. This calm, cool and collected boss would certainly be great for new recruit

2) Daijiro Ohara (Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsujo)

This Chief of the Kameari Kouen-Mae Police Box*is the boss who will scream at you when you screw up and is known to be very strict, however, he is a very diligent worker who can also be considerate at times. A boss like this would make many people quake at their feet, but they will also learn a lot.

3)*Kousaku Shima (Kachō Kōsaku Shima)

Many Japanese work in a corporate environment so its no surprise that Kousaku Shima tops the list as*many people who are trying to climb to the top the corporate ladder want to be like him. This salaryman who eventually became president of his company has inspired a lot of people because of his devotion to his work.Other characters whose names turned up in the poll but were not included in the top 5 include One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy and Mobile Suit Gundam’s Bright Noah.
