Kyoto Animation, the studio responsible for hits like K-ON!,*Chuunibyou, and Free!*previously announced they are adapting a novel series by the author of Full Metal Panic!. Now they have announced it*will*air this fall and have revealed the first visual. Will it be another masterpiece by the famous studio?
Amagi Brilliant Park is based on a light novel series written by Shouji Gatou, the author of Full Metal Panic!, and illustrated by Yuka Nakajima.
The story begins when a beautiful transfer student named Isuzu Sento asks the protagonist Seiya Kanie, “Do you want to go to an amusement park with me?” while pointing a rifle at him (That’s a strange way to ask someone out on a date). Hence, Seiya is forced to visit Amagi Brilliant Park, a destitute amusement park with rusty rides and hostile mascots. To top everything off, Seiya becomes the manager of the park and must attract 100,000 visitors in two weeks, or else the park will be shut down.
