Acquire has revealed more info and screenshots on the PS4 version of Akiba’s Trip 2, the game in which you hunt vampires in Akihabara by stripping them (you read that right).
Akiba’s Trip 2 was first released for the PS3 and PS Vita last November, but the developer Acquire recently announced that the game will also be released for the PlayStation 4.
As you can guess, the PS4 version will have enhanced graphics and faster loading times. Now that it has more RAM, there are also more people walking around Akihabara, chatting on their cell phones, handing out flyers, or hitting on younger girls.
In addition, all of the DLC for the PS3/Vita versions and the bonus modes unlocked after the game will be available from the beginning. This includes the heroines’ swimsuits DLC and the “Chibi Character Mode” unlocked post-game.
A new feature is the visual editor, which lets you tinker with the appearance of the game. For example, you can change Akihabara into a virtual world:
Or you can change the time to a permanent summer evening:
The game will also use the PS4′s sharing functions so you can broadcast yourself playing, and the viewers will also be able to interact. For instance, if you watch your friend play, and he’s fighting a tough opponent, you can type, “help” into the chat box…
An incredibly powerful little sister will teleport into the scene!
There are more keywords you can enter at certain times. If your friend is about to perform a strip and you type in “panty jump”…
The opponent’s panties will sparkle and float in the air(?)!
On a more simple note, you can appear in your friend’s game as an NPC.
Akiba’s Trip 2 comes out for the PlayStation 4 on July 3. People who pre-order will also receive a download code for alternate-color heroines. If you don’t want to wait, you can buy Akiba’s Trip 2 for the PS3 or PS Vita now. Also, an English version will be released in North America and Europe this August for the PS3 and Vita.
