GeForce 780 Ti gets a release date while GTX 780 and GeForce GTX 770 get price cuts

GTX 780 Ti to launch on November 7 for $699, while GTX 780 gets its price cut to $499 and the 770 goes to $329..

Nvidia is doing across the board price cuts for its GTX 7-series cards in order to stay competitive against AMD.

The company is also offered game bundles with Assassin’s Creed IV, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Batman: Arkham Origin — though not as impressive as AMD’s “Never Settle” pack — and discounts of $50 to $100 on the purchase of an Nvidia Shield.

As Nvidia and AMD’s flagship video cards are only marginally better than one another, and for most users one gives no noticeable boost in performance over the other, price wars are the only way this round of the GPU wars will be won.

These discounts will go live as of Tuesday morning in North America and Tuesday night in Asia.
