The recent murder case in which a female student murdered her classmate*shocked not only Japan, but also the entire world. And with this saddening*incident,*Psycho-Pass*producers decided to omit the 4th*episode of the New Edit Version which has scenes of*juvenile crimes.
The website only states “schedule reasons,” but the official Twitter account of the TV anime has a detailed explanation:
今週放送予定の「PSYCHO-PASS サイコパス 新編集版」第4話は、内容的に現在放送するのにふさわしくないという判断があり、来週放送予定の第5話を繰り上げて放送することになりました。何卒ご了承ください。今後第4話の放送の予定はありません。
