Nvidia ditches Stereoscopic 3D. Petition to change their minds.

Helixmod stereoscopic 3D gaming comunity just posted this:

The gamers and programmers gathering, making the patches for games to fix 3D support, (which is essentially doing Nvidia's job), is raging. They (Nvidia) stopped supporting games long time ago, but now they implemented fake 3D instead of true 3D, so they can probably fire that last person hired for working on 3D driver.

It's not just ruining 3D, it's also preventing helixmod patches from working! Also blocking any future fixes!

If that's not enough, users of windows 8.1 are forced to stay on drivers from December, cause any newer means serious problems with 3D (and LB) to the point it's just unusable AT ALL.

Please, sign (just post "I sign" post) here:

even if you don't play in 3D right now. VR (Oculus Rift and such) is coming and 2 years from now many gamers will be sorry they can't play old (i.e. 2015) games in stereo 3D.

Work done by helixmod community is beneficial for all gaming market, not just Nvidia.

Besides, even without VR, stereo 3D is amazing, and if you think otherwise, you obviously had the bad luck to see it set up by some person lacking basic "know-how" or you used really bad hardware/settings/content. Go see it presented by a skilled 3D user, on a proper hardware (not some cheap LCD TV!) and not in movies, since 60fps is crucial for 3D (that's why Hobbit is 48fps, but cinemas around the world cannot show this in full glory making it seem not amazing, as it should)

Help! Change the world! Don't let Nvidia make this horrendous step backwards. Please.
