An advance look at the upcoming 30th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump! Magazine has revealed a very important announcement regarding*Kouhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga. According to the leaked pages of the issue, which is slated for release this Monday, My Hero Academia’s anime adaptation will be getting a second season.

The announcement also revealed that this second season will be covering the Sports Festival Arc from the My Hero Academia manga. It also comes with a new visual for the upcoming second season, though it did not reveal when this second season is expected to air.
The 13th and final episode of the anime’s first season will be airing this Sunday, with Shounen Jump!’s 30th issue being released a day later, on Monday. More details on the second season will be revealed in the future.
