Death Note to get a live-action TV drama

According to a recent leaked magazine scan taken from the*school lawyer manga,*Gakkyu Hotei,*which is illustrated by Takeshi Obata, the very person who illustrated the Death Note manga series, the classic manga and anime will be getting itself a live-action TV drama

According to the scan, broadcast of this new live-action TV drama will begin in July 2015, however, it did not state whether this new live-action drama will be a completely new and different work or a sequel to the previous live-action movies, which include the spin-offs which focus on L.

A live-action Death Note stage musical is also currently being played in Japan and will also be hitting South Korea in August. More announcements on this new drama, such as the staff and the cast will be made in the days to come
