Watching the new cooking anime,*Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma , can make you downright HUNGRY with its delicious-looking culinary scenes. When it comes to cooking, main character, Souma Yukihira, definitely thinks outside of the box. His unorthodox style in cooking however was not able to deter anime music producer, Noriko Dohi, who somehow managed to recreate the young chef’s culinary creations.
Dohi, who previously worked as a music producer for the trading card game anime, Selector Infected Wixoss, showed everyone her take on Souma’s cooking. She recreated episode 1’s dish, the*nanchatte roast pork, which is really a bacon-wrapped mashed potato dish. She commented that the dish has plenty of umami flavor but said she wasn’t confident that she prepared the dish just like how Souma did it.
She also recreated episode 2’s dish, the*Transforming Furikake Gohan, which is a special take*of “egg on rice” with chicken aspic jelly cubes which melt when they are added to hot rice.
Doesn’t that make you hungry?!*Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m headed to the kitchen because I’m getting hungry, time to use the “chef” part of Spartanchef, I suppose

#shokugeki_animehttp://pic.twitter.com/JUMvFpG0xD
