The official Toho Animation youtube channel began streaming the second PV for upcoming Summer 2014 dark fantasy anime Akame Ga Kill*and it reveals some of the anime’s characters and who will be voicing them.
Sora Amamiya, who voices One Week Friends‘ Kaori Fujimiya will not only be singing the anime’s OP song, but she will also be voicing the titular character, Akame.

Souma Saitou, who voices Haikyuu‘s Tadashi Yamaguchi, will be voicing the male lead, Tatsumi
Legendary voice actress Yukari Tamura who is known for voicing Nanoha Talamichi from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha will be voicing Night Raid member, Mein. Yuu Asakawa (Fate/Stay Night’s Rider/ Medusa) meanwhile will be voicing fellow Night Raid member Leone.
Mamiko Noto (Fairy Tail’s Mavis Vermillion) meanwhile will be voicing Schere while*Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online’s Kirito) will be voicing Rabac
Katsuyuki Konishi (Beelzebub’s Oga Tatsumi) will be voicing Braht while Risa Mizuno (Nura: Rise of the Youkai Clan’s Wakana Nura) will be voicing Najaenda.
Finally, Satomi Akesaka, who voices Coppelion’s Taeko Nomura, will be lending her voice to the sadistic general of the empire, Esdese.
Akame Ga Kill*is one of the most hyped titles coming into the Summer 2014 season, and that is saying a lot since Sword Art Online II*and Free! Eternal Summer will also be airing during that same season.
