Japanese pro footballers try copying Captain Tsubasa's 'Super Shots'

Tsubasa Ozora, also known as Captain Tsubasa, is known for his*crazy moves*which has caused trouble for his opponents, even on the international level. With thse legendary moves*in mind,*Japan’s professional football league, the J-League, has made several videos in which some of their players try their hand in emulating Tsubasa Ozora.

Let’s start things off with Tokyo F.C.’s defender, Kosuke Ota who successfully copied Tsubasa’s “Razor Shoot”*with the help of his teammates, Midfielder Naohiro Ishikawa and Goal Keeper Kentaro Kakoi. When the J-League released the video last March 2014, it instantly became viral.

Next up is Kawasaki Frontale forward Yoshito Okubo as he tries his hand in Tsubasa’s “Recoil Shoot” against teammate and midfielder, Kengo Nakamura. Like the Razor Shoot video, it also became viral reaching more than 3 million views on youtube.

Finally, J-League’s most recent Captain Tsubasa Super Shot video features Cerezo Osaka’s duo of defender Takahiro Ohgihara and midfielder Hotaru Yamaguchi trying out the “Twin Shot” with the help of teammate Yuki Kotani. The video has also gone viral, already reaching over a million youtube views.

Pretty impressive, right? I can tell you, those shots are very hard to do, especially the “Razor Shot”. And all these players are already on the international level, just like Captain Tsubasa himself and they have practiced all of this for years.
