Alice from the J-pop duo ClariS announces her graduation

Alice, who is one-half of the popular J-pop duo known as ClariS has now announced her graduation*from the*duo.*She, along with her partner, Clara, formed the pop duo back in 2009 and released*three albums, including the upcoming third album titled Party Time which will be released*on June 4, 2014.

In an statement released by*artiste via the official Sony Music Japan website, she stated that she wanted to concentrate more on her studies and thanked the fans for all their support in the three and a half years she has been in the music industry.

ClariS is known for singing the OP songs for various anime series like*the two opening songs for the hit romantic comedy anime*Nisekoi, “Click” and “Step” as well as the theme song for the third Madoka Magica movie,*The Rebellion Story, which is titled “Colorful”. The duo also sang the OP songs for OreImo and the Madoka Magica TV anime.There is still no word on the future of ClariS because*Alice may have announced her retirement but her partner Clara has not. Looks like fans will never really be able to see what Alice looks like as huh?
