Matcha Hazuki’s heart-rending One Week Friends manga is getting adapted into a live-action movie, and a brand new trailer for the film has now been released. It stars Kento Yamazaki as Yuuki Hase, and*Haruna Kawaguchi as Kaori Fujimiya.
The new trailer also features the film’s theme song, which is titled*Kanade for Isshuukan Friends” by Sukima Switch. It is a new version of the band’s song, “Kanade”, specifically made for the film. New screenshots have also been revealed.
Much like the very-successful 2014 TV anime, the film will be based on Matcha Hazuki’s bestselling mangaYuuki Hase, who befriends an amnesiac girl named Kaori Fujimiya. Kaori has her memories reset every Monday, so their friendship also reset every Monday, which results to Kaori meeting Yuuki for the first time every Monday.
