After saving Earth from destruction, the Yamato is going back in action for the upcoming 7-part follow-up to the space epic known as Space Battleship Yamato 2199,*Space Battleship Yamato 2202. And now, a brand new PV teases a brand new conflict, as Earth braces to face a new threat called the Comet Empire.
The first part will be having a 2-week limited run in several Japanese theaters starting February 25, 2017. The story will be set a few years after the events of Space Battleship Yamato 2199, with characters like Susumu Kodai and Yuki Mori returning.
