A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, The iDOLM@STER) will once again be animating the series, with*Koichi Hatsumi taking over for previous director,*Tensai Okamura. As mentioned in a ptrevious*announcement,*the new season will be following the*Kyoto Impure King Arc. The anime is slated to premiere in January 2017 as part of the Winter 2017 season.
