Usually, complaints against Japanese anime are mostly sexual in nature such as the complaints against Flay and Kira being suggested to have had sexual intercourse with one another in Gundam SEED,*Gintama’s S and M scene, as well Shimoneta being…*well… Shimoneta. But this complaint focuses more on the anime’s violence, as there was a scene where the main protagonist, Mikazuki Augus, was shown gunning down unarmed prisoners and enemy soldiers without any regret or hesitation. While the title of the anime being complained by some viewers was not mentioned, the description pretty much singled out Iron-Blooded Orphans. The complaint was described as “the young mail protagonist gunning down non-resistant enemies and prisoners.”
The Gundam franchise has largely been directed to children, and scenes like this has caused concern for some viewers as Mikazuki killed those people without showing any hesitation, remorse, or even emotion at all.*The complaint ended with a suggestion that there should be an age limit of sorts for viewers for that anime.
