A look at the live-action Ghost in the Shell: ARISE stage play

From November 5 – 11,*the*Tokyo Geijutsu Gekijou Playhouse will show a unique stage play which will*the “very first” play to incorporate 3D videos in the actors’ performance. That play is the live-action adaptation of*Ghost in the Shell: ARISE, and it has now started its shows and it has already taken the audience to the edges of their seats.
The play is part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the original Ghost in the Shell movie, and just like the original, the cast, who sported costumes faithful to the original, astonished the audience members with the play’s unique mix of live-action acting and 3D imagery. The crowd were even given 3D glasses to fully appreciate the play’s stunning visual effects.

Previously, they revealed main character, Motoko Kusanagi, before also revealing three more cast members and then revealing the actors for Togusa, Paz, and more. The actors for**Batou, Borma, Ibachi, and Thied, have also been revealed in costume.
