The Top 20 most pure and innocent anime characters according to Charapedia

In anime, there are characters who are wily and use their brains or knowledge of the world to their advantage, however, there are those anime characters who are so innocent that most of the time, they don’t even know what’s going on or are too pure to even know what that three-letter S*word which ends with X*means.
For this week’s Charapedia poll, 10,000 anime fans, 59% male, 41% female, were asked to rank the anime characters they think is most pure or most innocent. Of the 74 characters included in the poll, only the Top 20 were announced, and they are:
20) Meiko “Menma” Honma (AnoHana)
19) Index Librorum Prohibitorum (A Certain series)
18) Popura Taneshima (Working!)
17)*Torhu Honda (Fruits Basket)
16)*Yuki Takeya (School Live!)
15) Umi Sonoda (Love Live!)
14) Haruka Nanami (UtaPri)
13) Cocoa Hoto (Is the Order a Rabbit?)
12)*Juushimatsu Matsuno (Mr. Osomatsu)
11) Saika Totsuka (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)
10) Son Goku (Dragon Ball)9) Chino Kafuu (Is the Order a Rabbit?)8) Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)7) Sakura Kinomoto (Cardcaptor Sakura)6) Shoyo Hinata (Haikyuu!!)5) Yui Hirasawa (K-On!)4) Akari Akaza (YuruYuri)3) Kosaki Onodera (Nisekoi)2) Eru Chitanda (Hyouka)1)*Sawako Kuronuma (Kimi ni Todoke)
She may look like a scary “vengeful spirit” from The Ring, but when it comes to becoming actually pure and innocent, Sawako actually takes the cake as her moments can trump*some of the “achievements in innocence” by some of the characters in this list.meanwhile, #2 ranked Eru Chitanda is a sheltered rich girl, and this has resulted in her innocence, which has led to her curiousity, which of course has led to Oreki’s constant dismay as he is forced to expend energy. The other members of the Top 5 like Onodera, Akarin, and Yui are no slouches either. While Akari and Yui are legendary for being innocent and pure, Onodera has that shy personality which makes people want to protect her.

Hiromu Arakawa's Silver Spoon to return from hiatus in January 2016

Silver Spoon fans, rejoice! After a lengthy hiatus which started last May, Hiromu Arakawa’s agricultural manga, Silver Spoon, will finally be returning in January 27, 2016 in issue #9 of Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine’s 2016 edition.
The legendary mangaka, who is also responsible for creating Full Metal Alchemist and illustrating the Heroic Legend of Arslan manga, said she slowed down the pace of the manga due to the declining health of a family member. Last April however, was the end of that family member’s treatment, and Arakawa and said that she will continue making the manga as she watches over her family.
The return has been welcome news for fans who are eagerly awaiting for the manga’s return since May, which subsequently came after a shorter hiatus which lasted until April earlier this year.
Silver Spoon is*Arakawa Hiromu’s follow-up to her successful manga series, Full Metal Alchemist. Set in an agricultural school in Hokkaido, it depicts the daily life of *Yuugo Hachiken, a student from Sapporo who had enrolled into the school under the false impression that he will be able to do well because of the easier academic courses. The series has inspired two anime series.
