The Durarara!! official website has announced that the light novel’s second anime adaptation will be slated for January 2015 as part of an already packed Winter 2015 anime season which already includes Kantai Collection.

The website also stated that the anime is currently in production. It also announced the anime’s staff which includes Power Stone director Takahiro Omori who will be returning at the helm of the anime as the lead director. Noboru Takagi will once again handle the script just as he did for the first season while Haikyuu!’s Takahiro Kishida will return as character designer.The anime adaptation was announced last*March during the*Dengeki Game Festival 2014.*This new season will be part of Durarara!!’s 10th anniversary celebrations.*
