Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax's console version to be released November 2014 [Video]

As Sega’s light novel cross-over fighting game, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, is headed to both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita, Dengeki Online has finally announced the upcoming console port’s exact release date, which will be on November 13, 2014.


The website also announced that the PlayStation 3 version will cost 6,980 yen plus tax while the PS Vita version will cost 6,170 yen plus tax. The game promises to be a little bit different from the original arcade version as it will add new modes such as a training mode. There will also be new conversations before battles which will be written by the Dengeki*Bunko authors themselves*as well as a*possible network communication play for a more enjoyable online experience.


The console version also lets players utilize the points they earn from playing by unlocking several special features which include special color palettes, special content, illustrations, and audio. Each character will have his/ her own set of unlockables which you can purchase with your points.


A special Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax magazine will also be released and it will contain special illustrations from the Dengeki Bunko artists as well as essays from the authors. The first volume will feature Sword Art Online’s Asuna in the cover.


A household version for the game’s theme song, Belief, will also be released as part of the game.*That very song is also featured in a new PV for the console versions which was recently released by Sega.

The game will feature all the characters released so far, including the latest additions which are*Black Bullet’s Rentaro Satomi and Enju Aihara, as well as Strike The Blood’s Yukina Himeragi and Kujou Akatsuki
