With it’s box office success in Japan and America, the release date for the third Madoka Magica movie titled Madoka Magica: The Rebellion Story Blu-ray/DVD has finally been announced.
The Blu-ray/DVD is scheduled for release April 2, 2014 and it will contain English subtitles. The Blu-ray will cost 5,500 yen plus tax while the DVD will cost 4,500 yen plus tax.
A limited edition Blu-ray box set has also been announced and it will be released simultaneously along with the standard versions. The limited edition box sets will contain the official soundtrack CD along with a Blu-Ray disc which will contain the first take on Devil Homura’s transformation as well as the announcement video for the collaboration short films betyween Madoka Magica and NisiOisin’s Monogatari Series Second Season. The short films are written by NisiOisin.
The limited edition Blu-ray box will also contain a special booklet and will cost 9,500 yen plus tax.
