A look at the gameplay for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment's 'Secret Area' [Video]

The official Dengeki Online youtube channel has started streaming a new gameplay video for the upcoming Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment video game for the PS Vita and it features a mysterious location within Aincrad known as the “Secret Area”. The game’s producer, Futami Takakai takes us through the 30-minute video with commentaries about the gameplay and the area.



Looks like players will be able to enjoy plenty of hack-and-slash action within Secret Area. The video features Kirito with his harem party which consists of*Philia (his partner), Leafa (Player 2), Asuna (Player 3), and Strea (Player 4). Those monsters are in a whole world of trouble now…

The area is filled with powerful and high level monsters so working together as a party is definitely a must. The video also features Kirito and his harem party members in a different attire that the ones you are used to to show off the game’s customization options.

Finally, Kirito and the gang face off with a powerful monster known as the NM “Terminate Dragon Omega” before looting some goodies from their conquest.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment was*released last*April 24, 2014 for the PS Vita. It features plenty of features from wedding dresses and unlockable costumes to even romancing Klein. Yaoi fangirls rejoice! *A Chinese and English version will also be released later this*May.
