HP expands device portfolio with a trio of new ultrabooks and tablet



The new lineup includes an ultrabook, tablet/notebook convertible as well as a Tegra 4 powered Android slate.





Just in time for the coming holiday season, HP has announced a range of new devices that come in a variety of form factors. They include the Spectre 13 ultrabook, the Pavilion x2 tablet/notebook convertible and the HP Slate 7 Extreme tablet.

HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook

HP’s latest premium ultrabook boasts an impressive 13-inch 2560×1440*resolution IPS*display and Haswell Core i7 processor, all in a beautiful aluminium chassis that tips the scales at just 1.47kg. The Spectre 13 is also the first notebook to feature HP’s Control Zone super wide trackpad that enables Windows 8 edge gesture use right from the palm rest.

HP Pavilion 11 x2 Convertible PC

For the mobile warrior, the new Pavilion convertible packs a detachable 11.6-inch 1366×768 resolution screen and is powered by Intel’s latest Bay Trail tablet SoC.*The budget-friendly hybrid PC will also run Windows 8.1 out of the box and come loaded with 64GB of SSD storage and dual 1080p webcams.

HP Slate 7 Extreme

Based on the recently unveiled NVIDIA Note reference tablet design, the new Slate 7 Extreme Android tablet features a 7-inch 1280×800 resolution display, the latest Tegra 4 SoC, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The slate also comes with an integrated stylus for easy and convenient note scribbling.

Pricing and availability:

The Spectre 13, Pavilion 11 x2 and Slate 7 Extreme is expected to be available in November 2013, with prices starting from S$1,799, S$899 and S$249 respectively.
