After leaving fans guessing about the fate of the world in the magical girl anime,*Yuki Yuna is a Hero, we are finally getting some answers as a second season has now been confirmed, and it will begin airing in 2017.
The new season was revealed by the anime’s official twitter page,*@anime_yukiyuna, which revealed that the second season will be titled*Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru: Yuusha no Shou. The new season will also adapt*author Takahiro’s other light novel series,*Washio Sumi wa Yuusha de Aru, or Sumi Washio is a Hero, in the anime sequel’s first six episodes. It will also be having a theatrical run in March 2017 before being shown as a part of the TV anime. The Sumi Washio series serves as a prequel to the Yuuki Yuuna series.
