Everyone’s favorite overpowered onii-sama and his also-quite-overpowered little sister are*back! The upcoming original story-movie for Tsutomu Satou’s Irregular at Magic High School light novels has had several huge announcements during Dengeki Bunko’s annual fall event. This includes a brand new trailer which teases the new story, as well as introduces the mysterious new character, Kokoa.
Kokoa herself is also featured in the movie’s new visual image, which was also revealed during the event.

The anime movie’s story is an original one, not found in the light novels, and is written by series creator, Tsutomu Satou himself. The story takes place in the Shiba siblings’ villa on the*Ogasawara Island archipelago. There, the siblings encounter a deserter from the nearby* National Defense Naval Base, and she asks them for help.The film is scheduled to make its Japanese premiere in early summer 2017, with much of the TV anime’s cast returning to reprise their roles.
