Spring is in full swing, and as viewers are now settling in with the new anime, and of course dropping the ones they don’t feel like watching and continuing on to watch the ones they like, the Japanese anime character database, Charapedia, has asked fans which of the new Spring 2016 anime are they continuing to watch.
The poll had a total of 10,000 votes,*61.1% male and 38.9% female, and featured a total of 65 titles, however, only the Top 20 were announced, and here they are:
20 –*Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE: 0096
19 – Super Lovers
18 – The Asterisk War season 2
17/16 tie – “Anne Happy” and “Bukuon!!”

With its Attack on Titan-esque feel, WiT Studio has taken another spring anime out of obscurity and made it a surprise hit, and that is reflected in this poll, as Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress takes the #1 spot over other favorites, like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Re:Zero, and Sakamoto.KumaMiko manages to upset the heavy favored Jojo, as it relegates the much-loved action anime to the #7 spot, while fellow season favorites, My Hero Academia and Macross Delta both fail to reach the Top 10. However, Macross does hold a victory over its long-standing mecha rival, Gundam, as Macross Delta places higher than the Gundam UC TV anime.So, which*Spring 2016 anime are you continuing, and which ones have you dropped?
