Fans rank their favorite anime characters who look best in swimwear

In Japan, it’s the height of summer, which means that because of the hot temperatures, many often go to either the beach or the pool, which also means that it’s Japan’s bikini season!
The Japanese anime merchandise shopping app, Otomart, has recently polled its users on which anime character looks best in swimwear, and divided the results between the guys and the girls. Here is what they have to say:

While Love Live! is seen dominating the female rankings, the male rankings are dominated by an assortment of female-oriented anime like UtaPri, Hakuouki, and anime popular to women like Gintama and Kuroko’s Basketball. And while the Otomate app is used by both genders, majority of its users are female, and may be the reason why some of the winners in the female categories are from anime most guys usually don’y watch.
