During Bandai’s livesteaming announcement, a new Gundam series titled Mobile Suit Gundam: The Iron-Blooded Orphans (Kiddou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphan) has been announced and it will be a completely new series by Sunrise.

The series boasts a new Gundam called the Gundam Barbatos, which evolves in stages and can take the equipment of defeated enemies to improve its arsenal. The announcement also introduced the main characters, including the main character and pilot of the Gundam Barbatos,*Mikazuki Augus, and his childhood friend,*Orga Itsuka.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans is scheduled to premiere on October 4, 2015
