Full Metal Alchemist and Silver Spoon creator's Arslan Senki manga gets an anime

Best-selling manga creator Hiromu Arakawa , who is best known for writing and illustrating both Full Metal Alchemist and Silver Spoon , will be having yet another one of her works adapted to an anime, and this time, it is the manga adaptation of Yoshiki Tanaka’s Arslan Senki (also known as The Heroic Legend of Arslan) novels.

The anime adaptation’s official website has also been opened and introduces the new series. Arslan Senki follows Prince Arslan and Daryoon, a skilled soldier banished by Arslan’s father. Together, they must set off on a quest and gather members to their party and overcome an enemy which has more than 300,000 soldiers at their disposal.

The series has quite the pedigree as Yoshiki Tanaka is best known for creating Legend of the Galactic Heroes while Arakawa ‘s Full Metal Alchemist and Silver Spoon are two of the most loved mangas in Japan. More announcements will be made in days to come.
