In the seventh volume of Overlord, a dark fantasy light novel series written*by*Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by*so-bin,*plans for an anime adaptation has been announced.*Further details will be revealed at a later date.
Overlord is a story about a salary man who stays online despite the*MMORPG he plays halts its services. He eventually becomes a strong skeletal wizard. He starts*to take over what remains of*the virtual world and is attracting new followers.
The light novel*series has sold over*400,000 copies in Japan. It is published by*Kadokawa’s brand company, Enterbrain.
