[NEW ANIME] Shounen Jump! manga, Saiki Kusuo no Psi, gets a TV anime adaptation

Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine has produced some of the greatest anime ever, including Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Fist of the North Star, Saint Seiya, Kuroko’s Basketball, Gintama, and many more. Now, a new Shounen Jump! manga is getting the TV anime treatment, and that is*Saiki Kusuo no Psi by Shuuichi Asou.
According to the 23rd issue of Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine, this new anime will run in TV Tokyo’s*Oha-Suta (“Good Morning Star”) program starting July 2016, which means it will be part of the summer 2016 season. The anime’s cast members have also been revealed:
  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Kasuo Saiki
  • Mitsuo Iwata as Kuniharu Saiki
  • Rikako Aikawa as Kurumi Saiki
  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shun Kaidou
  • Daisuke Ono will play Riki Nendou

The Saiki Kusuo no Psi manga follows*Kasuo Saiki, a high school boy with*supernatural powers that cause unfortunate events in his everyday life. More details on this new anime will be revealed in the days to come.
