[Video] Princess Asseylum is alive and well in AldNoah.Zero season 2's latest PV

With the much awaited second season of the*critically acclaimed mecha anime series, Aldnoah.Zero already nearing its premiere on January 2015, a new PV for this second season has finally been streamed.

The new video starts off with Slaine piloting*his new*Kataphract in space. It also features a very alive Princess Asseylum speaking in public. Does this mean she is alive? Knowing who created the anime (Gen Urobuchi of Madoka Magica fame), many fans have speculated that may not be the case, then again, we may be proven wrong and shaking our fists while screaming “GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!” all over again.

Part II will premiere this January 2015 as part of an already-packed Winter 2015 anime season.

Samsung SM-E700F Affordable Galaxy Phablet Leaked

Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch a slew of new Galaxy smartphones with single-letter naming convention. The South Korean tech giant recently announced the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones with metal unibody designs, and now another smartphone with single-letter naming convention has leaked on Indian import tracking portal – Zauba. A smartphone with model number SM-E700F seems to have been imported to India for evaluation purposes by Samsung. The device is said to feature a 5.5-inch display and dual-SIM support.

Along with the screen size, the listing also reveals the price of the handset. According to the portal listing, the device costs around $204. The price indicates that this device could end up being a mid-range phablet offering from Samsung with decent specs and dual-SIM support and meant specifically for markets like China, India, and South East Asia. Earlier this week the SM-E500F model was also leaked through the same portal. Unlike the SM-E700F leak, the SM-E500F listing did not have any other information about the device except for the model number. But from the model number we can probably guess that the SM-E500F would be positioned lower than the SM-E700F and could come with a smaller display and slightly less impressive hardware.

Unfortunately no info or rumors regarding the spec-sheet of either device is available currently, so we would need to wait for more leaks in the coming weeks to learn more about these two handsets. These are like to be named Galaxy E500 and Galaxy E700 going by the naming convention of the recently announced Galaxy A series lineup. Samsung has decided to go with the single-letter naming convention for its Galaxy smartphones in a bid to clean up the mess with its naming conventions. Along with the change in naming convention the company has also been trying to revamp its image in the smartphone market by offering premium metal unibody designs on its newer devices like the Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Note 4 and the recent Galaxy A-series.

Eye tracking technology, new era for advertising

What is eye tracking?

Eye tracking is the process of measuring either the point of gaze (where one is looking) or the motion of an eye relative to the head. An eye tracker is a device for measuring eye positions and eye movement. Eye trackers are used in research on the visual system, in psychology, in cognitive linguistics and in product design. There are a number of methods for measuring eye movement. The most popular variant uses video images from which the eye position is extracted. Other methods use search coils or are based on the electrooculogram.

Eye tracking provides the opportunity to examine the visual behavior of a consumer while interacting with a target package. This may be used to analyze distinctiveness, attractiveness and the tendency of the package to be chosen for purchase. Eye tracking is often utilized while the target product is in the prototype stage.

In general, eye tracking studies function by presenting a target stimulus to a sample of consumers while an eye tracker is used to record the activity of the eye. The resulting data can be statistically analyzed and graphically rendered to provide evidence of specific visual patterns. By examining fixations, saccades, pupil dilation, blinks and a variety of other behaviors researchers can determine a great deal about the effectiveness of a given medium or product.

Eye tracking is commonly used in a variety of different advertising media. Commercials, print ads, online ads and sponsored programs are all conducive to analysis with current eye tracking technology. The study revealed that ad size, graphics, color, and copy all influence attention to advertisements. This allows researchers to assess in great detail how often a sample of consumers fixates on the target logo, product or ad. As such, an advertiser can quantify the success of a given campaign in terms of actual visual attention.
